My work and where to find it
This website shows the work sold under my own name. Since starting Glorious Mud Ceramics in 2014, to enable me to actually make a living as a potter (by working with other people), I have been increasingly focussed on that, very different, work. However, I am still throwing and making in the studio as much as I can.
I work mainly in stoneware, making functional, everyday ceramics designed to be used and enjoyed.
Hopefully they are also nice to look at...
I am passionate about British crafts, their revival and survival, so I source all my ingredients and equipment in Britain as far as possible.
I love throwing, so the majority of my work is made on the wheel although I also make hand built jugs, large slumped and molded dishes, tiles and ceramic pictures.
Most of my current work is inspired by things growing in my garden or in Richmond Park, where I spend a lot of my free time. Also seed heads and other objects collected on walks at the weekends. I have a growing collection of found objects which I am experimenting with to make marks on clay.

Where to find my work
My work is also available from a handful of galleries and shops which I have listed below, or direct from me of course.
